Choosing a Care Home

The Raikes and Sunningdale have extremely good qualities for caring for differing needs.

The Raikes has a 'genteel' clientele, whose elderly residents may have the symptoms of dementia but who may also have limited mobility, or they are becoming physically frail and need a higher level of physical assistance from our caring staff.

Sunningdale, on the other hand, is a specialist care home, caring for residents who suffer from dementia, where there might be an added dimension in which their behaviour may have become problematic.

We have been caring for people for over 35 years — in the NHS, Social Services, and our own care homes. We were in care before we were in business.

We believe passionately that: if we're not doing it right, we shouldn't be doing it at all. Any concerns about our homes will be investigated and addressed promptly.
