Marian's Story

My mum has lived at Sunningdale for almost 5 years. During this time, she has benefited from quality care, planned to meet her needs. In addition, her relatives have felt valued and supported.

Sunningdale's strengths, I feel, are the commitment of its owners, managers and staff, who strive to provide a secure, safe and happy environment for its residents. David, Alison and Andrew Crabtree are often there, involving themselves in the day-to-day running, and showing a high level of knowledge and interest in the residents.

A key feature of its philosophy is the way individuals are treated as such, and allowed to "be who they are"! A friendly, welcoming place, I would have no hesitation in recommending Sunningdale.

Finally on behalf of the family, I would like to thank you, Alison, Andrew and the staff at Sunningdale, for all you do for Marian. As far as she can be, given the fact that her freedom is limited because of her condition, she is happy and settled.
